Meet Our Managing Director!
Liz Osborne has been rescuing wildlife from the Southwest Michigan area for over 7 years. From small mammals like squirrels, rabbits, opossums, groundhogs, and mice; birds such as morning doves, robins, and crows; and also turtles, and various other exciting creatures, Liz began a one-man mission to save them all.. But as the intakes rose, and the required time to care for all these animals increased, this not-so-little adventure began to grow.
Starting with Liz’s Little Wildlife Rescue in 2017, Liz started spreading compassion and kindness not only to the countless animals in her care, but building a group of dedicated volunteers who share Liz’s passion and goal. Single handedly managing a wildlife rescue and also being the primary caregiver of all the animals is a task too great for one person.
In summer 2022 the official rebranding to All Creatures Deserving began. What started as a small venture is now evolving into a full scale non-profit with outside business management, additional licensed wildlife rehabilitators, and an ever growing team of volunteers. With ambitions of a new facility, more staff, and a larger capacity for saving animals, Liz strives to stick to the mission and continue to grow, not only as a non-profit, but as a person. Liz is an incredible teacher, a patient, kind, and forgiving person who really takes to heart the meaning of All Creatures Deserving.
